The Canon EOS R7 has been an incredibly exciting addition to the compact mirrorless camera lineup. With its impressive size, imaging quality, and value, the R7 system is unmatched in its class.

The Ikelite 200DLM/D Underwater Housing for the Canon EOS R7 is configured exactly as it would be for optimal use, with a Dual Tray with Dual Handles, Trigger Extensions, Vacuum System, and a set of spare O-rings, ensuring a streamlined and reliable experience underwater.

This housing is suitable for a variety of underwater applications, including scuba diving, snorkelling, surfing, and pool use. Made from a custom ABS-PC blend, the housing is significantly lighter than aluminium, yet strong enough to withstand almost any challenge you may encounter.

The included Vacuum System gives peace of mind by allowing you to check for leaks before entering the water, ensuring that everything is securely sealed.

Overview

Controls are provided for everything except the Diopter Adjustment Slider, Multi-Controller (can be pressed straight in), Depth-of-Field Preview Button, and Focus Mode Switch.

Pre-Dive Checks

There is no greater reassurance than being able to visually inspect your camera and O-ring seal through the back of the housing. The unique open-groove design suspends the rear O-ring in a natural position, making it easier to maintain and more reliable than forcing it into a channel. Once the housing is closed, you can see the O-ring form a solid waterproof seal.

The addition of the optional Vacuum Kit with 1/2" Valve # 47012 allows you to pull a vacuum and check for leaks prior to entering the water, adding extra confidence.

Construction

The housing is made from Ikelite’s specially formulated ABS-PC blend, offering durability while being significantly lighter than aluminium. The light colour also helps to keep your camera cooler in warm, sunny environments.

Lens Support

Ikelite lens ports are the lightest on the market, yet still robust and capable of withstanding rough surf conditions.

The housing supports a wide variety of lenses, and most popular zoom lenses, along with select focus rings, can be engaged using simple gearing, putting adjustments right at your fingertips. Zoom and focus gears differ depending on the lens used.

Lens ports and zoom gears are sold separately, so be sure to refer to the appropriate port chart for compatibility information.

Wi-Fi Transfer

The Canon EOS R7's built-in Wi-Fi feature allows you to download photos to another device without removing the camera from the housing. Please note that the Wi-Fi feature is only usable above water and within close proximity to the connected device.

Compatibility

Unless otherwise specified, this housing does not accommodate the use of add-on grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers, or other accessories.

Differences in lens and control placement prevent other camera models from being used or adapted for use with this housing. No other models are known to be compatible with this housing.
