Overview

The kit includes a dome port, zoom gear, and anti-reflection ring for the Canon RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens. This dome port and zoom gear are also compatible with the Canon RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens, providing versatile options for underwater photography.

Pre-Dive Checks

Nothing beats the reassurance of being able to inspect the camera and O-ring seal through the back of the housing. The signature open-groove design suspends the rear O-ring naturally, making it easier to maintain and more reliable than forcing it into a channel. Once the housing is closed, you can visually confirm that the O-ring has formed a solid, waterproof seal.

Ikelite recommends adding the optional Vacuum Kit with 1/2" Valve # 47012 to check for leaks prior to entering the water.

Construction

The housing is made from Ikelite's specially formulated ABS-PC blend, a highly durable material that is significantly lighter than aluminium. The light colour also helps keep the camera cooler in warm, sunny environments.

Lens Support

Ikelite lens ports are the lightest on the market while remaining robust and capable of standing up to the demands of rough surf.

The housing supports a wide variety of lenses, with popular zoom lenses and select focus rings accessible via simple gearing, putting adjustments right at your fingertips. Zoom and focus gears differ depending on the lens used.

Wi-Fi Transfer

The camera's built-in Wi-Fi feature allows you to download photos to another device without removing the camera from the housing. This feature is only usable above water and within close proximity to the connected device.

Compatibility

Unless otherwise stated, this housing does not accommodate add-on grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers, or other accessories.

Differences in lens and control placement prevent other camera models from being used in or adapted to this housing. No other models are known to be compatible with this housing.
