The Aquatica 8” dome port is the longest-standing port in Aquatica’s arsenal. A real workhorse, the port is a general-purpose dome port made of optical grade acrylic and is well suited for large rectilinear wide-angle and fisheye lenses. The 8” radius means it can easily be used for over/under photos and will produce a smooth and thin water line.
Made of optical grade acrylic, this material which has a density factor very similar to water means that minor external scratches on the dome surface are unlikely to show up in the final image, and should they ever appear, it is more than likely the surface can be repaired on-site with an acrylic refurbishing kit.
